TechOnline Security covers off on the all important security requirements:

TechOnline’s Virtual System Administrator ensures that all of the above, along with your Windows operating system, is managed and monitored daily. In addition the TechOnline Security Centre will keep you advised with a real-time status report indicating what activities have been completed and if there are any problems that need attention.
Each and every day, TechOnline will complete the following tasks:
- Ensure that your antivirus and firewall software is running properly and protecting your computer
- Check that the virus and spyware definitions are up to date, and that your firewall software is up to date
- Run a daily scan of your computer to find and remove any spyware or Trojan software
- Make sure the TechOnline Agent is running correctly and online.
In addition, TechOnline carries out the following weekly activities:
- Virus scan of all files on the computer
- Scan of your computer to make sure your computer is not missing any critical security updates from Microsoft, and to ensure any previously applied updates are correctly installed
- Routine maintenance check and cleanup of the Windows registry to keep your computer in top shape.
If we discover a problem, you will be alerted via the TechOnline Security Centre.
The TechOnline Security Centre monitors the security of your computer and you are advised of any issues, and can click through on the “Recommendation” button for precise details of what actions you need to take.
